Hi,
I have read the sticky but i think i have a powerful enough setup so i am just wondering if im doing the right configuration.
I have a Avermedia Live Gamer HD capture card which helps my CPU ALOT, just by using it as a camera source. The encoding is still h.264. But i have been gotten problems with taking too long to encode errors, this is specificly with Dark Souls 2. Maybe its very CPU intensive.
Anyways ive read that its recommended to downsample your source.
But what if you have a capture card? My game is at 1920x10280, but my capture card is set at 1280x720 @ 60fps. So no reason to downsample then right? The capture card does it or?
And what if i have no settings in the device selection of my capture card. Will it read the resolution and fps settings of OBS?
