Hi,
A newbie here!
I have a Lenovo laptop with 1080p display connected to an HP monitor with 1440p display (as "2nd display only" in my windows 10 display settings) with not a single issue switching between displays with their original resolution remaining intact when connecting-disconnecting the HDMI cable.
Today after I installed OBS and started recording (while my 1440p monitor was connected as the only display) I got only 1080p option in the list on the OBS settings. I was in rush and had to accept.
Now when I connect my monitor I get 1024 x 768 as "recommended" resolution instead on original 2560 x 1440 ! And also the maximum resolution on the list is 1920 x 1080, nothing more available!
I uninstalled the display drivers and restarted the pc, updated everthing and I mean everything! in my computer to no avail. sfc scanned my PC and found and repaired couple of corrupt files, again didn't help!
Should I uninstall OBS for good?
