Question / Help Synching two cameras in OBS, possible?

Hey there, first time posting!

Im using OBS to stream to twitch and I started playing Rocksmith and using a GoPro Hero3+ on my headstock to stream as a second camera, but there is a delay by 3 seconds or more on the gopro compared to my other logitech web cam.

I know there is a way to delay one to match the other, but I wanted to find the most efficient way to go about this and to keep a continuous stream of synched video.

Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately there really isn't; you'd need to delay the game forward to sync up with the video coming from the GoPro, then your camera forward to sync up as well, then your audio to match.

Sadly, unless you're using a capture card there's no way to delay the game video forward, at present.

One thing I'm really hoping will be there in the Studio rewrite is auto-sync range, so you could set a negative value on a camera or other video source, and have it (behind the scenes) delay all other sources forward by that much, it'd simplify getting everything sync'd up together.
So for example, a -300ms on a camera and a 20ms on a mic would bump the game capture forward by 300ms, cam by 0, and mic forward by 320ms so everything would line up on a virtual 'zero point'.

Anyway, using the buffer on either the gopro or the logitech webcam to sync them up is currently the way to do it.
