Question / Help Switching Scenes whil OBS Window is not active?

Hi there,

is it possible to switch between Scenes while OBS Studio is not the active Window. I have figured out that when i take my "normal" Keyboard (Roccat Skeltr) and i push directly CTRL+F3 (for Example) to switch to "Scene XY" it work fine. But when i take a Makrokeyboard with the same Commandprocedure CTRL+F3 or any kind of Makro Key Command it only work with a "active" Focus on OBS Window.

Have anyone a solutions?

Try running OBS as admin.

Maybe you not running OBS Studio as admin? Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...
The log shows: are you running admin mode or not.

I have already test it with "Start as Administrator" but no Szene-Switching, while OBS-Window is not in Focus. As i said, with my "normal" Keyboard it work fine.

Then, probably your key emulator running with lower privileges than rest of the software. Try to shift it up. Also, it is possible that your device generates too short signals to be well recognized by OBS Studio (Hotkeys Globally). Anyway, try to contact manufacturer of the device.

The problem is, to Run an simply USB-Device (No Software/only USB) with higher Privilegs xD It is, as far as I know not possible.
