Switched 7900XTX Red Devil for 4080 MSI 3x Ventus

Hi guys. Switched my 7900xtx for a 4080 for streaming purposes.

First things first: whole streaming quality has been massively improved. But, there s a but.
Using automatic settings (NVENC) i get a big drop in frames ( from 165 to maybe 90, sometimes less)
Have streamed only dark and darker (canvas 2k rescaled to 1080p ).
Have also tried streaming with x264 and seems like the frame has been massively reduced. Keep in mind that temps have been veeeeery cool at any time. Under 80 C averaging at about 65-70

Question comes now: should i continue using NVENC or x264? I feel like the stream quality is the same on both encoders.

Don't mess with settings. You have an RTX 4080 so you should use NVENC.
Run the Auto-configuration Wizard and apply the settings it gives. Do NOT change anything.
Please restart OBS (very important) and perform a test stream of at least 30 seconds doing as you normally do, including playing games, full camera or whatever you normally do.
Now look inside Help menu. Upload the current log file and paste the url to the log in here. Click on the Analize button to start troubleshooting common issues.

I mean... looks good but maybe i just expect too many frames while streaming and playing 2k

The log file looks fine. No dropped frames.
Keep it like this and test it for longer time.
