Hi all,
I'm a newcomer to the OBS family and I'm struggling to find a way to implement "live camera switching". Basically I would like to do what most group VOIP software are doing, which is putting into focus the webcam of the guy currently speaking the loudest.
It would be used for Live interviews where we have 1 microphone per participant and several webcams recording the interview from different angles.
Let's take the simplest form: 1-to-1 interview, 1 microphone per participant, one camera per participant.
If User1 is speaking the loudest in his microphone, the scene will automatically switch to the one with the camera1 toward him. If User1 stops speaking and User2 begins to speak, OBS automatically switch to the scene with camera2.
In a perfect world, the tool would also wait like half a second before switching to make sure it actually needs switching so that it won't make viewers throw up by switching scenes like crazy. It would also be possible to have for example 3 microphones and 2 cameras, if microphone 1 or 2 is active then it switches to camera 1, if microphone 3 is active then it switches to camera 2.
I've found automatic switcher plugins for active windows but nothing regarding audio inputs, Is it possible to do such thing?
ps: I don't actually care if I need to use OBS Classic or OBS studio, as I said I'm a newcomer so I don't have any complicated setup that can't be migrated.
Many thanks,
