My ultimate goal with OBS is to make a complex stream where I can effortless switch between my desktop, game capture, several webcams and consoles with my Elgato (HD, not HD60). Technically, I've got it all set up and working, but the video delay on the Elgato effectively means I need to delay my mic by ~1500ms if I want my voice to match up to video, and then I need to delay any webcams the same amount to match up with that. Annoying, but doable.
The problem is then that I want to switch over to my PC, the audio offsets are all off, and looking around the forums it seems like delaying the raw desktop/game capture feeds is more or less impossible due to memory limitations.
My questions:
1) Is there a way to set mic (and optionally webcam) delay on a per-scene basis? Alternatively, is there a way to bind the delay to a hotkey or otherwise manually switch it without taking the whole stream down?
2) Is there any way whatsoever to delay PC footage, even with a loss of quality?
3) Are there any capture cards that offer more or less the same features as the Elgato (specifically the TV passthrough) with minimal/no delay (USB 3 or PCI-E are totally fine)?
I understand that this is a super niche problem, but I'm just extremely disappointed that it seems all this effort may have gone to waste due to something as seemingly trivial as a second and a half of audio delay.
