I am currently running 4 monitors and I want to capture the content on one of the monitors.
When I try to select a monitor as a source it only gives me options of 1, 2, or 3. Most of the time I can find the monitor I want, but when i restart my system it will often make this source not work properly or it will shuffle the monitors around.
For instance, I will set up a global resource that is Monitor 3 which is running a PowerPoint presentation. Monitor 1 and 2 (in the system settings, not OBS) will be duplicate views and are running the PowerPoint presenter view. Monitor 4 is running the OBS software. I am also capturing video from a wireless camera, that is web based. After restarting the system, it will switch the source to show the powerpoint presentation from the Presenter view on a different monitor then the one I set up originally.
The monitors do not seem to match up, number wise, with what my settings are in my computer. It is a bit of work to keep updating my global sources prior to recording weekly to ensure everything is recording the proper source and is cropped and adjusted properly.
Do you have any suggestions, and/or are you planning on supporting more than 3 monitors? Thanks!
