Guys,
I am currently running a super ultra wide 49" curved monitor at 3840x1080 and am having real issues trying to stream via OBS. There are absolutely no tips anywhere on how to stream with this. I have tried just about everything that I know of and can think of.

Is there anyone out there running a setup like this that can help me out?

Thanks,

Be aware that you will not really be able to stream a resolution of 3840x1080 or a downscaled version of this. This is an aspect ratio of 32:9, and to squeeze this to the standard 16:9 video player of about every streaming service, OBS or the streaming service has to add really broad black bars to the top and bottom.
You have two options. Either you cut (crop) a 1920x1080 part from the midle of the game/display capture source and stream this. This makes you lose 50% of picture info to the left and 50% to the right.
Or you set whatever you intend to stream to a resolution of 1920x1080, thus it will not even start painting the added 50% to the left and to the right.
But there is one thing you cannot do and expect your viewers see the same as you: stream full 3840x1080 (or a downscaled but still 32:9 video). Keep in mind that almost nobody has such kind of display. The vast majority of users has 1920x1080 or 1366x768, so they are using a 16x9 aspect ratio monitor. You have to respect this and create videos with that aspect ratio.
