Question / Help super lag while recording

so when I'm trying to record Minecraft with game capture, the audio is fine, but the video lags so much even though in game there wasn't any lag at all. I've tried several tutorials and tried redownloading it but nothing will work.

well when i used to use obs on the same cp it worked perfectly.
anyways, what would i need instead?

A modern-ish i5 or i7 (i7 HQ/MQ would be required for a laptop)
