Suggestion: Improve Audio Filters for Speech-Focused Live Streams

Hi OBS Team,

First of all, thank you for this incredible software! I’ve been using OBS Studio for live streaming, and it works amazingly well. However, I’ve noticed that optimizing audio clarity for speech-focused content—such as religious recitations, lectures, or spoken-word streams—can be a bit tricky.

Here are a few challenges I faced:

• The Noise Suppression filter sometimes makes the audio sound too artificial.
• Adjusting the Gain and Expander settings requires a lot of manual tweaking.
• It would be helpful to have a built-in preset for speech-focused streams to make setup easier.
• Support for displaying PDFs or scrolling text natively would be a great addition for educational and religious content.

For example, I run a project where I stream Islamic recitations like Surah Yaseen, and I often need PDF overlays or captions for viewers to follow along. Right now, I have to use workarounds, but it would be great if OBS had a smoother solution for this.

If anyone has suggestions or if the OBS team is considering enhancements in this area, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Also, I’ve been using resources from [MOD EDIT: link removed] for high-quality PDFs, which I integrate into my streams. It would be awesome if OBS had a built-in PDF support feature to make this process easier.
