Question / Help [Suggestion] Fix whatever is causing this RECentral issue

I really don't understand why literally every other streaming program is able to display Avermedia RECentral with Aero on, except for OBS. I was told that it had something to do with HDCP, but that can't be the case as everything else can display it perfectly fine, even OBS with Aero off. Me and a friend of mine are both using the same capture card (Avermedia C127), and both use RECentral, and both can't get it to display without turning off Aero. Our computers work far better with Aero on, and only OBS has this issue.

Why are you trying to use window capture on RECentral instead of adding a video capture source instead?

Video Capture has never worked for me. The only thing that has worked with OBS and my capture card was turning Aero off and using Window Capture. It's the only way to get 60fps and actually display it.

You should fix whatever is stopping you from adding it as a video capture device.

Hey man, if you know of a way to remove the HDCP on PS3 that won't cost me even more money, and how to remove the silly delayed audio when something is connected via Component cables instead of HDMI, I'm all ears. Until then, I have to use Window Capture to avoid these problems, and Window Capture only works with Aero off for whatever reason. I'm just wondering why it's only OBS that has this issue.

I am confused. The Avermedia Game Broadcaster HD (C127) works just fine in OBS as a Video Capture Device. I use the same card for probably two years now. I would never even think about installing RECentral.
BUT, we cannot help with HDCP problems as these are out of our hand. So the only solution is to talk to Avermedia, they could change RECentral so you dont have to deactivate Aero to capture it. Or you use google to search for a solution for your HDCP problem and then use the C127 as a Video Capture Device in OBS.
If you have audio delay problems, you could sync everything using the buffer and delay options of OBS.
