Suggestion: Auto Close When Not in Use?

I don't even know if this is actually possible, but I'll just throw the idea out there.

Would it be possible to implement this or some sort of "Lock" when the program has been idle for a certain amount of time? Of course, the user can pick how long it will take for it to happen.

The reason I thought of this is that one of my regulars just alerted me that my stream has been up by accident for the last 10 hours. Thankfully, it seems this probably happened because at the end of my day, I tend to hit a hotkey to switch my audio source on Windows and perhaps I accidentally hit the hotkey to stream. OBS happened to be on Desktop Capture, and all it got was my Font Manager. I am SUPER relieved I didnt reveal any sensitive information by accident.

Anyway, just a thought guys. I know accidental streams have happened to many people due to this. Sometimes we just forget to turn OBS off and accidentally hit the stream hotkey. I happen to use OBS to record parts of my Youtube vids and just leave the program open until the next recording. This could have gotten much worse.

Hope everyone has a great holiday!

Well when you stream, you have your stuff open to monitor it anyway. So once you are done, just close the software.
I doubt that this feature will be implemented, because people actually stream for a superlong time and should not care about features that can stop a stream dead and cause a viewer loss (this always happens when the stream drops and while working live everything that can shut it down should not exist). I learned this lesson as a DJ, never leave something that can cause a shutdown or a break while not touching your gear directly.
