Suggestion: Add ability to invert colours on window capture

Sometimes when I'm streaming, I will have an IRC window open and displaying on my screen. Due to the white background of the IRC window, this can distract viewers from the main focus: The game. Inverting the colours so that the background is white for the displayed chat makes it still very readable but it is no longer distracting.


If there is already a plugin which can do this, please let me know what it is and where I can get it.

Just use chroma Key on the white background.

Or change the colors on your IRC client.

Anyway, this kind of thing should be possible in the OBS rewrite.

Using the chroma key on the white won't work because it'll just make the background black, which is the same as the text.

I have already tried changing the colours in my IRC client but I can't find an option to change the background colour, only the text, notifications and alerts. I has just occurred to me as I'm writing this though that I am able to set a background image which I could set to just a black square tiled to make the background black. Not sure why I didn't think of that before when trying to do this.
