Good Day People,

I got a bit of an Issue here and i do not understand why.
For some Reason i am dropping FPS which is connected to the Bitrate issue that i have.
I used to have 4000 as a Standard Bitrate on OBS and NEVER had an Issue with it. Until recently !
I had to lower it to around 1950-2050. The Bitrate is very unstabel, going down to 1,4k or up to 4k.
I really do not understand why that happened, because everything was going fine and i didn't change ANYTHING...
Would appreciate Help, if anyone knows why !

other than making sure your encoding process is set to CBR (Constant Bit Rate), it will still show jumps in bitrate say 1000 up or a 1000 down but this is just balancing losses from the down, if you look at things like twitch inspector or youtube's stream health it will show a better picture of how much upload is being used and/or if its actually stable or not

@Elixerin i did check out Twitch Inspector.
I put my Bitrate to 3k, was stable for 17mins, told me not to switch anything.
I will Stream today again, with that Bitrate and we'll see how it's gonna work out. CBR is ofc on, standard.

Put the Bitrate to 3k and it was okayish. dropped 1% Frames in 3h

Still don't know where it comes from though. I have watched the Bitrate and it is kind of unstable tbh.

it may show that it jumps around a bit and whatnot but ultimately if you run ethernet and its cbr then bitrate will be mostly stable with only small number drops and highs 1% frames in 3h isn't an issue (a bit over a minute and a half of dropped frames spread across 3 hours). So i wouldnt worry, if you're worried about something like a metered connection (limitation on bandwidth usage) then of course i see the concern but other than that it shouldnt be an "issue"
