Question / Help Suddenly Settings Are Too High?

Hey fam,

I have been streaming at 720p with 50 fps for about 2-3 months since I upgraded my PC with no issues at all - great stream quality, no lags or high CPU usage or anything.

Then all of a sudden, today, I have FPS drops and in game lag ON stream (while streaming).

I played H1Z1 for a few hours before I started streaming with no issues, I've played just now and there are still no issues when playing OFF stream.

I have done virus and malware scans, I have updated my drivers - still no solution.

I think I've located the problem to be with OBS. I've updated OBS but the problem persists. Thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Manfred.

There is a huge difference in stream quality between 30 and 60 fps. And I have been streaming 720p at 50 fps for months. Suddenly I can't. it makes no sense.

Anyway, even though it doesn't make a difference, I still have managed to stream for 3 months at 50 fps 720p without having issues. So the problem I'm looking for a solution for is that. Is it hardware malfunction? I can't seem to find any issues with hardware whatsoever. I have 300+ fps on CS:GO when not streaming.
