Hi, me and my friends stream our DJ sets online on our facebookpage. It was all going fine until the last time I noticed that facebook feed was not in HD.
I'm running a i7 7700HQ @ 2.8 GHz, 16 Gigs of ram and a GeForce GTX1050. So the specs are obviously not the problem.
In OBS I'm running the x264 encoder , without re scaling with CBR rate control on a 3000 bit rate on the faster preset on 30 fps. When streaming I don't drop frames and my CPU never goes past 20%.
Here is the weird part, when I noticed that it facebook wasn't outputting HD I tried multiple configurations also with different encoders but it still wouldn't show up in HD. When I tested it on my twitch channel everything was shown in nice 720p.
Does anyone have experience with facebook throttling your output? Because I'm pretty sure that's what is happening.
