Actually yeah, me too. Same awful, characteristic crackling with my go-to mic with my usual sources and profiles, and it happened after using the auto-updater. Been using OBS for years, and using this mic for years. Never (never!!) had any issues until today when I updated to 27.1.3 from 27.0.1.
Few things I've found from poking around a bit.
1. Yes, I have a buttload of audio input sources, and a lot of sources in general. Like I said, it's never been an issue up until now.
2. Disabling sources DOES "help". Making sources invisible, too. But only "helps" in the sense that I can ONLY have crackle-free mics if I'm in an otherwise completely-blank scene. No other sources.
3. Browser sources in particular really make things crackle like mad. Simply hiding them helps mitigate the crackle significantly. Obviously this ain't ideal or practical.
4. Only audio inputs are affected. Any and all audio output sources play back just fine, not a single underrun to be heard.
5. CPU usage and free memory are fine, unchanged from prior installations as far as I can tell. My graphics card is fine, too, nothing great but certainly not junk.
I've tried updating my video card's drivers, and then I tried installing my old version in a different directory, but the crackling persists (!!!). Kinda nuts tbh.
I've attached a big old log, for what it's worth.
I'll try some more stuff later (like wiping all my user settings and doing a fresh install), but right now I'm at my wit's end, and also kinda horrified, because the way things are now, I can't really use OBS anymore. :'(
So needless to say, any insight would be a big help. Thanks in advance!
