Question / Help stuttering video on mac

hello, i am have an issue where i am getting a stuttering video feed, very subtle, but noticable.. i am not even going live with a stream, i am getting video from a blackmagic mini recorder, thats beeing fed from a atem swticher..any ideas on why or possiable fix's? its being sent out fine from the switcher, but the video input in the mac is stuttering.
 
While you're seeing this, open Activity Monitor on your Mac, find the row for OBS and look at the "% CPU" column, if the number is bigger than 100 your Mac might just not be powerful enough to cope.

What model/age/spec Mac is it?
