Hey there everyone! So the problem is that my stream isn't really looking as smooth as I would like it to, and I am not quite sure why. I have the streaming pc which is running on a amd fx 8350, gtx 750, 4 gigs ram, and the elgato 60 pro pcie capture card. The gaming pc is 3.0ghz intel 950 with a gtx 770 and 12 gigs ram. My monitor setup is a asus 144hz 1080p monitor and I am using the capture card as a "second monitor" if you will, running obs on fullscreen preview without encoding. The gaming side of this is fine, I notice no performance hit, and things are silky smooth on the 144hz monitor playing league of legends for example. Now looking over at the streaming pc while I am streaming, things seem to be looking decently smooth, however once I actually rewatch the vod on twitch it is a little laggy and seems to have little stutters every couple seconds. I have the preview on the gaming pc set to 1080p 60 fps (idk if that matters) and have 1080p 30 fps on the stream pc. Here is a link to the vod if anyone is curious (I may have streamed it in 720p, and there is no audio, but the issue still stands) https://www.twitch.tv/jpixta/v/68483259 . Looking at the cpu on the stream pc it seems pretty much fine, its only running around 30-50 percent and neither obs's have any frame drops at the bottom... oh and the x264 preset is on veryfast. Any ideas as to why the stream isn't very smooth? Thanks guys :)
