Question / Help Stuttering/bad stream on Twitch through VLC

As the title says, I am unable to avoid getting black borders at the bottom and top of the screen.
I will most likely not be streaming any games, therefore I haven't tried it on games, but the case is the same for any other desktop program.

You will only get black bars if the source you are capturing is not the same aspect ratio as the resolution you are streaming at.

Your base resolution is 1920x1080. Your window capture resolution is 1920x1048.

Why not just use the Video Source plugin and skip the window capture anyway? https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/video-source-plugin.12605/

Thanks for the help and the link.
I'd like to use it, but I don't know how to.
There weren't any help guides or such for it that came with, and the thread doesn't really help me much from the first few pages.

-----------
Edit:
I managed to get it working, but it doesn't play on my screen as well as the stream.
Probably not really an issue, but is it possible making it play on both my screen and the stream?

Okay, so I tried it again today to see if it worked properly, and the video takes forever to load up on Twitch.tv, and whenever it does, it starts stuttering/hanging up straight away. There's also no sound.
Any ideas?

Managed to fix the problem with the sound, but it's still stuttering/stopping up to refresh to the point where it's unwatchable.

You may get stuttering if you're streaming above 720p, 30fps, 2500 kbps. Unless you're a big name on Twitch, there are bandwidth limitations on their end.

There aren't bandwidth "limitations" on their end, your viewers will just have a harder time watching you.

Can you post your log?

Okay, so reducing the bitrate fixed the problem, but I have to tune it down to such a level where the quality goes to utter shit.

Do I perhaps need to change to another streaming provider?

The one I used before had no problems with high quality streams, but their program was badly made and made my CPU go up to 80-90*C.

For partnered streamers their videos get transcoded "on-the-fly" into different resolutions for viewers to select and view.
non-partnered streams are "as is" so your viewers will need an internet connection capable of what you're streaming at.

You could stream @ 10mb/s but viewers who doesn't have a 10mb connection are stuffed
