Hello everyone,
I am in the process of setting up my gaming livestream. I have my PC, my PS4, and an Avermedia Live Gamer Portable capture card. So, I set up OBS to show the PS4 through the LGP and my webcam. When I go to "preview stream" to see if everything looks ok, I get really bad stuttering and choppiness from the capture of the PS4. It's unwatchable even in the preview.
Is this a hardware issue? I'm assuming it is because I am not even uploading to Twitch yet. I had my LGP replaced just a week ago because my first one was faulty.
I have an AMD FX-8320 CPU and I thought it would be able to handle the encoding from the LGP. Is it a problem with the LGP? I'm not really sure where to go from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
