twitch clip (I know the saved vods/clips have lower quality but I think you can kinda tell what I'm whining about here)
I'm getting to my wits end and it's making streaming not fun anymore. I have a pretty decent PC, 10700k, 32gb ram, 3070 GPU, my internet up/down is the best of anybody I know etc. Yet any time I watch my own streams on a secondary computer or phone I notice this micro stuttering, hitching, and general lack of smoothness that isn't present in the preview or in the game as I'm playing it. Maybe I'm just completely nuts, but when I watch footage like the clip above it almost seems like the footage is churning back and forth a frame or two instead of running smoothly. Not only that, but it seems like no matter what settings I choose there's way more pixilation than I think there should be for the settings I have and the hardware I use.
Am I just delusional about the quality of my computer? I see people with lesser components running buttery smooth 60fps streams @ 1080p. It just bothers me to have spent so much money and feel like the results I get on screen to the viewer end are still sub par. I can use the same settings as them and not get the same results. Do I need a 2-PC rig to accomplish the goals? Do I need to look into overclocking even though it seems like my CPU is handling the job just fine? Are my settings just totally bonkers?
Any advice anybody could give me would be cool. I wanna get back into streaming but I'm really tired of messing with settings for hours every day just to still hate the end product.
