Stuck on one frame of recording, audio plays just fine.

Ive been having a problem where when i start recording, the recording will hang on the first frame, but the audio will play just fine. It even does it in the OBS preview screen. I looked at the log file but i didn't see anything critical, so here's hoping one of you can help.

Note: this only started happening just after i upgraded to 16 gb of ram, but i checked and it was compatible, so i dont know if that caused the issue or not.
