Bug Report Stuck Keys

I looked around, but couldn't find an answer to my problem. Hopefully one of you can help.

I have a Steelseries merc stealth keyboard, and most of the time everything works honkey dorey. But, often enough to be super annoying, the keys get stuck as I'm typing. This only happens when I'm in OBS, so I'm sure it's some kind of problem related to the two working together. If I'm typing a lot of letters like an s, sometimes it will get stuck and I'll wind up with ssssssssssssssssssss and then I'll be able to continue typing.

I've already reinstalled the drivers, made sure I was in USB 3.0 and have enough power. The keyboard is fairly old now, but at the same time it's only happening when OBS is open...

Any help would certainly be appreciated. Thanks!

This honestly sounds like some sort of motherboard/hardware/driver problem, not an OBS problem. If it were an OBS problem I would have heard about it endlessly by now in the entire year it's been out.

Now I know you may be saying that it only happens while OBS is in use, but consider the fact that OBS queries a -lot- of devices. Video, playing sound, recording/capturing sound, capturing webcam, it activates all those devices on your system. If many devices are active at once it can cause these sort of things to happen with somewhat faulty motherboards/drivers - I've seen it before and it's usually random and related to USB devices. For example, sometimes people's sound will crackle when they're capturing sound and using their webcam at the same time, and only when the webcam is deactivated does it go back to normal. These sort of things are indicative of hardware/driver related issues than an actual bug of OBS itself.

I couldn't say for sure what it is but that's honestly just the best guess I have.
