Question / Help Struggling with OBS settings.

Hi Everyone,

My friend and I have been struggling with OBS settings for a month now, he even upgraded his PC for better results, but nothing seems to be changed. We tried streaming R6, Fortnite, and Rocket League, but the overall quality just looks pixelated and blurry.

His native resolution is 1440x900, and his PC specs are the following:
Intel® Core™ i5-6700k Processor
MSI AMD Radeon R9 270X Gaming 2GB
Kingston Hyperx Fury 2400mhz DDR4 8GB

We're streaming in 720p, so we're downscaling a bit, maybe that could be the problem, but I don't think so. He has really good internet as well, around 1000mbit/sec.

You should be targeting having the downscale maintain aspect ratio, regardless of what type of monitor you're using. The resolutions in the drop-down portion of the output resolution box are calculated based on your base resolution.
