Question / Help Struggling with Frame drops and lag

Hi all,

I've only just got into the whole streaming thing and I'm struggling with the set up. After a while my stream starts dropping frames and also sometimes disconnects.

My internet speed should be fine. I use a wired connection and have around 67mb download and 16mb upload.

I've tried to copy and paste a log file but it says it's too big for the post lol

Could you give it to us via the help menu in OBS? In OBS select Help > Log Files > Upload last Log File. Copy the URL and paste it here.

I believe its your gpu, its an old mobility radeon 4570
However does it do the same if you drop to a lower resolution downscale from 720p to 576p ?

Maybe its the server you are streaming to, since you mentioned it sometimes disconnects

I'm not sure if it was dropping frames on this one but I think it probably was.

In the meantime I'll try changing servers and lowering to 576p to see what happens.
