This happens when I swap CPU usage for streaming from veryfast to superfast. On veryfast, the audio is in sync for both the stream and the recording.
When I set CPU usage for the stream to superfast, my stream video remains perfectly in sync with the audio but for some reason the locally recorded video has a major audio delay (between 2-5 seconds).
I am assuming I can use video-editing software to sync it with the video? Either way, it is very frustrating and I am very puzzled as to why less CPU usage for the stream would have an effect on sync, especially for a separate local recording.
I am streaming with x264 and recording with NVENC. Just to re-iterate, I have zero problems with the audio staying in sync if I set the stream's x264 CPU Usage Preset veryfast.
The reason I am wanting to use superfast is because CPU usage on veryfast is almost double (gets up to 50%); while gaming, this causes my CPU to cap out at times, resulting in both the stream and recording to stutter badly.
