Was using OBS studio for months, then switched to Streamlabs. Streamlabs worked great for four days, then suddenly found I had a massive 10 second audio lag (without even recording) before my voice hits Zoom. I have tried sending the OBS Streamlabs audio to other sources (Voicemeeter Banana, etc) and the lag is there. It is obvious that Streamlabs is the problem. That audio lag grows longer and longer over just a few minutes, as I keep the program open. The lag can be 30 seconds or more, and become choppy.
This seemed to appear after I possibly received some update or addition I'd never seen before, called "Highlighter Beta". It could also be that I just never saw the Highlighter Beta, and it's due to something else?
For the meantime, I've gone back to OBS Studio.
My educated guess is that OBS Streamlabs was open during a hard computer restart I had to do yesterday, and something got futzed in the middle of an update. I think my only way out of this is to reinstall Streamlabs? I'd like to do that, but is there a way to preserve my scenes and settings? Thanks.
