Question / Help Streamlabs OBS, massive spikes above and below fixed upload speed after a few hours?

I have a dual PC setup which I use to stream and record with Streamlabs OBS with my GTX 970 encoding. When I start the stream it's solid for a few hours perfectly at 6000kbs 1080p 60fps. Occasionally, after a few hours, Streamlabs just goes absolutely nuts. My upload speeds can and will drop to below 700kbs and often spike above 12000kbs! What is happening here? When it occurs it destroys the bandwidth on my LAN causing whatever game I'm playing, usually an online competitive game, to lag out the wazoo and my stream to drop massive frames, up to 50%. The only solution I've found to combat it is to dreadfully restart the stream and god forbid my entire computer whilst streaming!

Please anyone with any helpful information or input would be appreciated. I 'm scared to stream again until I'm able to fix this!
