Hey everyone,
So for some reason, "ONLY" when I enable the in-game overlay option, certain things lag. For example, I have an overlay that I use in a game I play, and interacting with the overlay is extremely laggy, it can take me up to 30 seconds to click on an option in the overlay and change a setting. Or when I minimize / maximize a window like a chrome browser or any window in general, it takes an extra second or two to register the mouse click and perform the minimize/maximize action.
The rest of my computer operates just fine, playing games on ultra settings or doing anything else doesn't suffer any negative impact at all.
I have an extremely high end computer, 3090 GPU and everything else to match.
If anyone has any idea why enabling the in-game overlay would cause such a response, it would be very much appreciated.
As a side note, I've already tried activating performance mode and it doesn't help. Any other advice is welcomed!
Thank you (:
