I have been playing around with trying to stream for the past 2 days. I want to stream to facebook live and have done so successfully using OBS and the xbox app on my laptop. The issue I run into is the live stream is laggy. It is very choppy. I'm trying to get a clean feed for people to watch. I have adjusted the settings for optimal use for FB live but still no change in stream quality. I am not sure if it's my internet speed or the hardware I am using. I am trying to get to stonemountain status for stream quality or close to it. Also, I want to get a webcam set up to go along with my stream but am unsure how to get that going with OBS or a similar software. I was using my iphone as a webcam last night using kioni app but it wasn't showing me in my FB live feed. I have no issue buying a webcam but figured i might as well use the iphone since I already have it. Anyone have any info on this, google has not been kind on this matter. Any tips on this would be greatly appreciated!
