I can't get fiber and the best possible upload speed I can get width ADSL is 1.2 Mbit which is way too little. Well, I am lucky to live 150m away from the 3G tower and there is no trees or anything else that is blocking the sight between my house and the 3G tower.
In the picture below I am standing at my house where I would like to have a 3G receiver. Can some 3G expert determine whether the 3G sender is directed towards me or to another location. If it's not directed to me I could climb up in the tower and direct it to my house.
I have done some measurements with my phone and indoor the upload speed is ranging from 1-3 Mbit, outdoors its ranging from 2-6 Mbit. It's very unstable and varying, but shouldn't I get a more stable and maybe better signal with a good 3G receiver that I put on the roof of my house?
When (or if) the 3G problem is solved, I am curious about how I should broadcast the stream.
I need to have ADSL on the computer I am playing on, encoding the stream and sending it to another computer which should be connected to 3G which should be constantly broadcasting the stream. I don't want to buy a capture card, so I have to transfer the stream through my LAN, this means that the second computer has to be connected to a LAN / WLAN and a 3G.
Is this shit possible?
