Hey guys, i was wondering if obs is compatible with the avermedia live gamer portable, maybe using a usb cable or something. I am going to be buying it for my youtube channel so i can go to friends houses and record, but i was wondering if i could stream to twitch with it using obs. I know it comes with 3 months xsplit premium, but i dont like xsplit, at all.

Link to the card:

I want to use obs since i already stream PC games and i have an overlay and everything. Also can i stream in 60fps with the avermedia live gamer portable. Since it has a passthrough of 60fps but recording with 30. Maybe it would be able to stream from the passthrough. I know streaming is only possible with a computer ( i have a laptop and a desktop). Also am i able to use it for streaming from my pc to take load of the pc?

The live gamer portable can be used with OBS using the Stream Engine Software that Avermedia supplies with the device.
So when you add it as a Video Capture Device you choose "Stream Engine" and in the Stream Engine software you make sure to activate it.
