Question / Help Streaming with 3 monitors in surround mode

Twitch automatically letterboxes/columnboxes all incoming video streams to a 16:9 aspect ratio. There is no way to change this. As you're using a 48:9 aspect ratio, it will be a tiny strip. Recommend cropping down to only your central monitor instead, and sending a 1920x1080 stream.

Twitch doesn't support the bitrates that would be needed to send 5780x1080 without it looking like utter and total garbage anyway. It can't support 1080p60 properly, and only barely has enough to handle 1080p30 as-is.

Ok, I've tried to find where i crop to the central window. Can you help me out?

3 different ways
- hold alt while dragging the bounding box of your display capture source
- right-click on the source -> edit transform, and enter in the crop values manually at the bottom for 1920 on left and right
- add a crop filter to your source which removes the left and right 1920 pixels

My personal preference is to use method 2, as this allows the source to be cropped differently if needed for other uses, as well as giving you precise control over exactly how it is cropped.

Sure, in Settings->Video just set your Canvas resolution to 1920x1080. Then select the game/window capture you're using, and hit CTRL+R (or right-click and go to Transforms, Reset Transform). It should make the source quite large, then you can just slide it from side to side until the part you want visible is on-screen.
You can also right-click the source, go to Filters, and apply a Crop filter, typing in numerically the segment to crop down on the left and right. The preview should change in realtime.
