I'm not sure if this is even the forum to ask a question like this, but here it goes. I've tried playing some simple online games while streaming at the same time. I have DSL with 50 down / 6 upload. I run into a problem where it starts causing lag that is never there while playing without streaming. I've even tried lowering my bitrate down to 3k while having a free 3k upload for gaming. This seems like it should be more than enough but the issue still persists. I never have dropped frames or anything so it isn't that. Is the line quality of DSL just too bad to stream and play online at the same time without some extra lag / hitching? I do notice this pretty much only when playing online FPS games as you need precision at all times. If I play an rpg or mmorpg you barely notice the extra lag / hitching that happens. Thanks for any advice on this issue. Yes I know if I had fiber I would never have these issues but it isn't available in my area unfortunately...
