I've got a computer playing HTC VIVE games and a different computer in the same LAN connected to the TV. I want to stream the VR image from one to the other, so that people who aren't playing can see what the VR player sees and does.
Streaming to Twitch and back gives me a large lag and low quality.
Is it correct to think that the best solution is to create a private RTMP server (with nginx, for example) so I can stream with OBS and display with VLC? Or am I ignoring a much simpler solution for this particular case.
(I've dismissed direct cable solutions as the card's HDMI output is used by the VIVE and the DVI by the first computer's monitor, to launch vive, set up the games, etc)
