I've used OBS to stream events for three days now, it work's like a charm and I'm going to recommend it to everyone.
It could be a nice function to have the current server you stream to being displayed in the status bar, where the FPS and kb/s settings are viewed. Basically for testing I use another streaming url, and for the live stream i switch. Displaying the current url in the main window would help avoiding confusion.
Regardless if this will be implemented, compliments to all of you and I hope you go on like this!
