Question / Help Streaming to devices inside the network

Hello,

I am looking for a solution for the following setup:
1. Laptop/Pc connected to projector
2. Laptop/Pc streaming

The second laptop needs to have the content that the first laptop is projecting with the projector (Capturing the second screen).
I tried to follow the following tuturial Obs Studio udp stream to a second pc but i can't seem to get it working.
So maybe someone can advice me how to debug that problem, or another solution.
Both laptops are connected to wifi and the streaming laptop also with a LAN cable.

Thanks @Narcogen, will look into that.
About the wired network, the problem is that it is used on a rented location.
So where the projecting laptop needs to be, there is no wired cables available.
And there is one available on the location where the streaming laptop is placed.
 
Bring a switch and a long cable :)

Alternatively the NDI plugin has a "low bandwidth" option but quality will be lower.
 
Will look into that. Will test if it would work out of the box decent, or if i would need to enable that low bandwidth option.
The projector's content is mostly static, so it maybe it would not be a problem having a bit lower quality.
