When we are testing, the preview should be surrounded with red line to avoid mistake and forget to go live !

No, there is already a status message that reads "PREVIEW" in all caps on the status bar when in preview mode. Suddenly having a red border in preview mode would do nothing but confuse people.

If you say so...I'm certainly the only dumbass who fails a live stream because of the lack of feedback of OBS.

Conversation seems useless with this kind of answer.

There are already several indicators, the mentioned message, the stop preview button that is the only clickable button, and red borders are already used to resize sources. If you use the tray icon it will also show a red recording button unless you only preview.
If you find a more practical idea the conversation is definitely not useless :)

Maybe the background color of the window (not #FF0000 but something smoother), but i bet you cannot access it easely and it can bother people who don't have the default grey style.

Now that i've been trapped by the preview, I think i'm gonna look to the status bar every minute. It can't happen to me twice.
