Recently I took to streaming myself on YouTube in my spare time, and for the most part I believe everything is good with the software except for the fact it cuts out after a while. My hotkeys to start the stream are ctrl-alt-(plus), and the hotkeys to end the stream are ctrl-alt-(minus), but the games I stream don't use any of those keys. I'm using the YouTube - RTMPS and primary ingest server settings, for the stream output I'm using my hardware, video bitrate of 10000 Kbps, audio bitrate of 160, and the output mode is simple. Beyond that, everything else is still on their default settings as far as I can remember. I've never had this issue in the past, so it is a relatively new issue I'm having.
