Question / Help Streaming/Recording with Elgato & PS4 disconnects other USB ports

I don't know if this is an OBS problem or an Elgato problem.

This only happens with the PS4. Whenever I try to Stream or Record with my PS4 connected eventually it always disconnects OTHER USB ports. I have my Elgato plugged straight into my motherboard, and it disconnects my third monitor, keyboard and mouse which is plugged in to a USB hub in a different port. It's incredible frustrating and I have no idea how to fix it.

Any help would be appreciated

Have you tried plugging into any other USB ports? Just because it's a different port doesn't mean it's going to be on a different USB host controller -- you might be running into an issue where the Elgato is starving the external hub of necessary bandwidth to drive everything, or there's a power limitation that's exceeded.

Start here: https://r1ch.net/blog/managing-usb-bandwidth-with-usbview

That will give you a proper picture of how your USB tree is configured. From there, you can make sure you're plugging into separate controllers.
