I'm working at running a local club's MultiGP Drone Races and using OBS to both Stream and Record the event. Sometimes I have poor upload speeds, and was wondering if setting the recording encoder to something other than "same as stream" would give me better quality than the output from the stream encoder when it is dropping frames due to bad upload speeds? Currently if I have anything below 2mbps upload, I only record and do not try and stream, then I have good video. But when recording with a poor upload stream, my locally recorded video is poor. (blotchy, and pixilated.)
