I'm looking for a streaming platform to be used privately with a group of friends who sing karaoke. We would have a DJ host a live karaoke "radio show", streaming user-submitted recordings.
I would really like to use Discord and a music bot to stream mp3s which are uploaded to a service like SoundCloud. However, SoundCloud rejects some of the uploaded karaokes as copyrighted. Does anyone know if it's possible to stream mp3s into Discord directly off your computer?
Or can OBS be used in this manner? If not, are there any platforms that don't monitor streaming of copyrighted music?
What other options might I have?
