Hello. I've been trying to use OBS. But I always get an error saying this.
"Could not initialize DirectX 10 on Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family. This error can happen for one of the following reasons:

1.) Your GPU is not supported (DirectX 10 is required - note that many integrated laptop GPUs do not support DX10)
2.) You're running Windows Vista without the "Platform Update"
3.) Your video card drivers are out of date

If you are using a laptop with NVIDIA Optimus or AMD Switchable Graphics, make sure OBS is set to run on the high performance GPU in your driver settings."

The only drivers I have to choose is:

1.) Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family
2.) Standard VGA Graphics Adapter

I do know that my computer does support DirectX 10. Because I am able to use DirectX 11.

Your GPU does not actually support DirectX 10 at the hardware level. You can have whatever version of DirectX installed that your OS supports, but if your hardware doesn't have the required features, it can't actually use it. This is especially true of older integrated GPUs like the one you have.

You will be unable to use OBS with that laptop. There is a rewrite of OBS going on that will allow support for these older GPUs, but even if it does happen, your system is incredibly weak and you will not get very good results anyway. Streaming is incredibly demanding, even for modern computers.

But, when I used this program on youtube that said to check if your computer is supportive with OBS. Mine said it was. It said DirectX 10 is supported.

Whatever you used only checked whether it was supported in software, not hardware.
