Question / Help Streaming PC, is this good? Help!

First of all, I'm not at all great with computers. Programs and installing is fine, but whatever's inside the PC looks all the same to me. I've heard of some good processors via various streamers, it seems the i7 Cores are a favourite.

My current PC has: AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor 3.50GHz 8 GB RAM.

Games run fine, but I'm not much of a PC gamer and only stream via consoles connected to my pc via the Elgato capture card. Now, the issue I have is that I currently cannot stream as smoothly as I would like. My settings are washed down, and my processor is often put to the max. I just want a decent PC that allows me to do proper streaming. Play music on Spotify in the background, while not having to worry about frame-drops or my PC being unable to handle it.

I've added 2 links of PC's with an i7 (they seem to be mandatory for a decent stream) that are within my price range. Would they do the trick? It's in Dutch, but the specs are right at the top. Again, my knowledge of PC specs and PC building are very basic, so I'd rather have someone built one than put loose components in myself.

I've added the specs as files for easier reading. They're titled foti and foti 1.

The first one would be the better option, with an i7-6700k. Unfortunately neither of them include a discrete GPU. They'll work, but if you plan to play anything fast-paced on-system (rather than via capture) you may run into issues.

Your current CPU is a bit weak, but should be able to produce a watchable stream. Try posting a log file from that one, at least 5 minutes in length with active gameplay. We may be able to tweak settings a bit and get it running better.

Thanks for the help. I've posted on this forum many times, tweaking things here and there. It's fine, but I enjoy streaming a lot and it's time to go to the next level, a computer that fits better with the rest of my setup.

I'm looking at an i7-4790k at least, with a minimum of 16 gb ram. I don't do on-system gaming, I'm no good with a mouse and prefer anything that's console based. I'm just looking for something that allows me to stream at a high quality, and sometimes play some music from Spotify in the background, without having to worry about frame-drops everytime I open a new tab.

Either the 4790k or 6700k will work; I'd lean toward the 6700 for futureproofing, but if you're on a budget buying behind the curve is a good strategy to save a few bucks.

Do be aware that the stream may still freeze a bit if opening a new browser tab, depending on the browser. Some are less 'polite' about resource allocation, and just step on everything else.
Likewise, do be aware that using Spotify music on your stream is copyright infringement, and CAN leave you open to legal action, same as iTunes, YouTube, Pandora, physical CDs, radio, and any other music source if you don't have a rebroadcasting license for the music itself. Doesn't matter where it comes from.

I'm sure you've been told that it just takes a bit of time to pick up KB+M many times... and it's true. But in the meantime, most controllers work fine with PC directly. I know 3-4 streamers who play even shooters (TF2, Payday 2) with a gamepad, and do okay.
That said, that's one of the biggest up sides; the ability to upgrade later if the mind changes. :)
