Hey all.
Not sure if this is in the right section, sorry if its not!
Looking to buy a streaming PC.
Not sure what hardware I should for streaming, here what I got at the moment.
It'll only be used to stream lectures/tutorials on youtube, so maybe 2-3 camera inputs and whats on screen (web browser, power point, word, video etc). Likely wont ever need to stream above 30fps, but I'd like to be able to stream at 1080p.
Questions are:
1. From reading around these forums it seems the GPU isn't all that important for streaming so I have only taken a GT 1030, will that be enough or should I get a more powerful GPU?
2. Again from reading around I got that streaming is pretty CPU intensive so I went with the 8700K, though it has no stock cooler, how hot can I expect the CPU to get for streaming? assuming 1080p 30fps. Should the currently selected cooler be enough ?
3. How much RAM would I need for streaming? I've gone with 16GB but that was just based off what I usually go for with new builds, not sure if it's overkill or not.
4. Wasn't entirely sure what capture card I should get, will the current one work well with OBS or are there any better options?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks! :)
