Hey guys
So I've been streaming for a while and got a pretty high end system unfortunately I'm not able to stream higher end titles (WD2, Wildlands) due to cpu usage restrictions.
That's why I started hunting for good 2nd hand deals and I found some very good deals but that's not the point here :P
So this is my current setup:
**This is my system:**
* Cooler Master Storm Trooper
* i7-6700K
* MSI Z170A PRO
* Be Quiet! Pure Rock
* HyperX DDR4-2666
* Samsung 840 EVO 500GB
* Asus Strix GTX 1060 06G
* A few HDD's
* Sharkoon WPM600
**Streaming pc:**
* i5-3470
* Gigabyte Z77-D3H
* AMD HD7700
* AverMedia C985
I bought 2 3.5mm cables and I tried them both.
I've got the video going on my streaming pc and I'm also able to get the audio from my mic to the streaming pc thanks to the "listening" option in Windows Sound. (not audio repeater)
All I need is to get the audio from my gaming pc (from the games and music) to my streaming pc.
I put the cable in the blue 3.5mm jack in my gaming pc and in the green one in the streaming pc which resulted in getting the audio from my streaming pc on the gaming pc. So I thought it would fix itself by switching these ports, but that didn't go as planned. That didn't work at all!
Tried every possible port and so far I had no luck.
Then I got mad and started googling why I just couldn't get the audio through HDMI... (got 3 monitors, 1 VGA onboard, 2 HDMI) Both of the HDMI ports say "Not connected/plugged in" in the audio tab.
What I did next was try to install all possible audio drivers:
- Realtek onboard
- GeForce Experience (was removed apparently)
The onboard audio driver update also gave me a few extra audio options, one of them was an extra pair of speakers (for free!), if I'm doing the windows test it does change the audio levels on the streaming pc.
Also tried to use Audio Repeater didn't work. I've tried multiple guides...
Hope you guys can help me out!
Thanks in advance lads
