Question / Help Streaming Multiple Webcams

hi everyone.

A few friends and I are starting up a weekly livestream where we play board games, RPG games and a few other things. We have realised that we will need no less than 4 webcams going and here is the problem I have reached:

As I input the webcams into OBS, the software acknowledges the video sources, however when all 4 are put into the program, 2 of the webcams freeze. The first two you activate remain totally fine but the 3rd and fourth instantly freeze on the first image they see.

I was wondering if anyone had suffered a similar issue and knows how to fix it?

Is there anything I am missing and is there a better way to get visuals than webcams?

Can you elaborate on the webcams you are using and how you have them plugged in? In other discussion online I have read that the Mac's prefer to have the webcams on individual USB busses. If you are on a laptop, this may be problematic as the USB ports may be sharing a bus, essentially acting as a USB hub. If you goto your System Information page onto the USB section it should tell you what devices are going to what busses.
