Question / Help Streaming LoL on a Laptop, blackscreens everywhere

Hey there,

so I tried OBS now, using my Acer Aspire Laptop to stream. However, it doesn't seem possible for me to get this thing to work. I wanna stream League of Legends and read some guides about how to get it done with OBS... however, it already starts with that the option game capture doesn't seem to work for me at all... I open my LoL client and create a source with the game capture option where I choose the client. However, when I try it out on stream the image is centered in the middle of a blackscreen and very, very, very tiny. If I choose to enlargen it to fit the screen it gets blurry all over.

I get it to work when I choose the window capture option.. However, I only have the window there then, and a black screen behind, as the programme doesn't seem to be able to recognize my desktop and capture it. I already read the sticky thread about the laptop running 2 gpu's, but the tips there didn't really help me.
I indeed have the function within OBS to choose between my Nvidia Graphics Card and the integrated Intel HD Graphics 400 one. When I choose Intel, my desktop is shown in the stream preview, but then it would mean that everything is captured via the Intel card which is everything else than optimal performance-wise.

I also tried the game capture mode when I'm in a LoL game and it still won't work then (I chose borderless as an option ig)... So I basically rely on screen capturing to get my stream running.. which is the same problem as above - I can only run it on the Intel GPU.

Hope my problem was kinda clear... If anyone has some good advices or tips for a workaround I'd be very grateful.
Choosing to run OBS on the nvidia gpu didn't do the job for me :(

Use the nVidia control panel to force both LoL and OBS onto the nVidia GPU. Then make sure Aero is enabled. Then set up 2 scenes, one for LoL's main window (its menu) and one for its match window. With Aero Enabled both can be Window Capture, shouldn't matter for performance.

Obviously you'll want to make sure the resolution is set up properly. So what you could do is to set the base resolution to the same as the match window. That way at least the match window should be a perfect fit.

Use this plugin -- viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1785 -- to have OBS switch automatically between the 2.
